Our Story

Our story begins with our founder, Robert York, who has over 15 years of experience in indoor air quality-related issues. With a background in project management, inspections, and consulting, Robert is uniquely qualified to handle any water damage, mold damage, and bio remediation project. Robert is a Maine-licensed master pesticide applicator for mold and bacterial treatments, an EPA-certified Lead Safe Renovator, certified in applied microbial remediation (mold remediation), water damage restoration, carpet cleaning, fire and smoke damage, and applied structural drying. He is also board certified for CMRS (Council-certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor) as well as CIEC (Council-certified Indoor Environment Consultant).

  • Robert York, Owner and Co-Founder, who has over 15 years of experience in indoor air quality-related issues.
  • Katharine York, Co-Owner and Operations Manager, who works full-time for the local police department as a dispatcher and helps oversee the operations of the company.
  • Brad Rosenberger, General Manager, who has an extensive background in Leadership and Customer Service, and oversees the company's operations and ensures that our clients receive the highest level of service.
  • Blaine J. Davis, Business Development and Marketing, who has over 20 years of experience in dynamic leadership, teambuilding, educational and management skills and focuses on growth and systems, helping Octagon to acquire critical new relationships.
  • Maddie Coro, Office Manager, who oversees our customer service department, manages our Human Resources department, and is passionate about serving and supporting both clients and colleagues.
  • Madilyn Santisi, Administrative Assistant, who provides stellar service to our clients and assists with scheduling jobs, inspections, and maintaining our customer database.
  • Jodi Day, Accounts Receivable Manager, who has 25 years of experience in all aspects of accounts receivable including both billing and collections, and works closely with insurance adjusters and our customers to ensure timely payment for services and ease through what can be a stressful situation.
  • Tony Comeau, Branch Manager, Barrington, NH, who oversees the operations of our Barrington, NH branch and is dedicated to providing the same signature service, integrity, and commitment to excellence that Octagon has become known for.
